It’s always pretty special when a sporting event can serve as a surprise homecoming for a deployed soldier and his/her family, and the videos that come from those reunions are always great to watch.
This one – from the Arizona Coyotes’ final regular season home game over the weekend – is especially awesome because it features a great reaction from the soldier’s father, who – in utter disbelief – basically sprints towards his son once he realizes what’s going on. The two greet each other with an enormous bear hug that ends with them both falling to the ice.
Just an awesome moment.
