The Pittsburgh Penguins are riding high after winning their seventh straight game on Wednesday, defeating the New York Rangers 7-2 in the Big Apple. During the victory, Pens captain Sidney Crosby was getting badly heckled by a fan near the penalty box. Instead of getting mad, he seemed completely cool with it rewarding the heckler with a signed stick.
Crosby gave the heckler the signed stick with the message “good chirps, take it easy on me next time.”

It’s pretty great Crosby not only took the heckles in stride, but he was so impressed he made sure to let the heckler know and gave him something they’ll never forget. He probably turned an enemy into a fan. Well done, Sid.
