Loui Eriksson has had some tough time finding a break since arriving in Boston via the Tyler Seguin trade last summer, and he certainly couldn’t catch one during the Bruins-Blues game in St. Louis on Thursday night.
Almost halfway through the first period, Eriksson caught a stick right in the mouth courtesy of a Blues player battling for a loose puck. The high-stick somehow went uncalled by referees, even after Eriksson began bleeding profusely from the mouth.

The Bruins forward had to have some emergency dental work performed off the ice and end up losing a few teeth as a result. He returned to the game shortly thereafter, because hockey.
