In the hockey world, everyone knows that Pavel Datsyuk is some kind of supernatural freak. Due to the NHL lockout, Datsyuk signed with the KHL’s CSKA Moscow along with Nashville’s Most Valuable Partier, Alexander Radulov. In a game Monday night against Avangard Omsk (wtf?), Datsyuk tracked the rebound of his denied shot and headed the puck into the net soccer-style. Most players who are able to track a rebound would instinctively take a whack at it with their stick in mid-air and have the goal waived off due to high sticking… but not Pavel Datsyuk. Why? Well, because you don’t need a stick when you can control the puck with your mind. Unfortunately, the goal was called off because the KHL sucks.
Up until this point, I’ve been suffering from serious lockout denial. However, I’m beginning to realize that watching hockey highlights on youtube in a language that I don’t understand may be the reality of my life for the next year. So, I’ve decided to take up Russian. That way I can translate this brilliance for all 10 of you that actually care.
OR MAYBE THEY COULD JUST END THIS B.S. LOCKOUT.
