The Edmonton Oilers have produced more amusing blooper clips this season than highlight reel plays, but veteran center Derek Roy opted for the latter on Friday night. During their shootout loss to the Blackhawks, Roy scored their only goal and it was a beauty.
After Duncan Keith turned it over deep in the Chicago zone, Roy grabbed control of the puck and baffled Corey Crawford with a slick spinorama amid traffic:
