Blackhawks announcer Pat Foley has an issue with the NHL’s late start times, and he wants to tell you about it.
Foley went on a long rant during Thursday night’s Game 5 tilt between the Blackhawks and Blues, which started at 9:40 EST. NBCSN was having none of it, though, and cut to commercial mid-rant.
It took two overtimes to decide the Game 5 matchup, which means the game lasted until long after midnight. Foley does have point, as it’d be nice to be able to stay awake for finishes like that one.
The Blackhawks pulled off the 4-3 win, but still have some work to do as they’re down 3-2 in the series.
