Another day, another awesome reason that the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL are grabbing hockey headlines.
After signing a deal last week that will set them up to play their home games on the roof of a casino starting next season, the Wranglers wore some awesome Spider-Man themed uniforms in a game this past weekend.
The Wranglers donned the custom Spidey uniforms you see in the photo above for their game on Saturday against the Idaho Steelheads. Sure, it’s another gimmick designed to draw in fans…but it’s also one for a great cause. The Wranglers auctioned off the game-worn jerseys with the proceeds going to the Children’s Hospital of Nevada at University Medical Center.
Here’s a pic of the super unis in action following the Wranglers’ 3-1 win.
