This awkward video clip comes from the first intermission of Monday night’s Islanders-Capitals game in New York and features an Islanders reporter forgetting a very crucial piece of information for her interview with forward Anders Lee.
MSG’s Shannon Hogan had Lee’s name slip her mind as she began her interview, leading to a very awkward intro segment. Hogan attempts to play it off by saying she was “just joking” and it doesn’t look like Lee bought it, and neither did we. Nice try, though.
Fortunately for Hogan, there are two intermissions in a hockey game so there’s still time for redemption.
Anders Lee is always a good sport. #isles

Funny thing is I've interviewed @leeberr09 more than anyone on this team. I've covered him since his days back in the CCHA with Notre Dame.
