After being acquired off waivers from the Dallas Stars over the weekend, defenseman David Schlemko made his debut for the Calgary Flames on Thursday night in Boston. It didn’t take Schlemko very long to be a difference-maker for his new squad, as he delivered an absolutely gorgeous game-winning goal in the shootout to defeat the Bruins.
The 27-year old defenseman – playing for his third different team this season – was called upon in the eighth round of the shootout and made sure not disappoint his new coach. Schlemko busted out an absolutely sick Forsberg-esque move that left Tuukka Rask completely fooled.
