Canadian hockey legend Pat Quinn, the man who did just about everything there is to do in the game of hockey, passed away on Sunday at 71-years-old. He played, coached and served as a general manager and front office executive in the NHL for nearly 35 years. Quinn also led his country to the 2002 Olympic Gold Medal as head coach.
There have been tributes and recognitions across the world of hockey this week, but one carried significantly more weight than the others. Quinn was honored by the Vancouver Canucks, a team that he played, coached and served in the front office for during his career in the NHL, on Tuesday night with an emotional pregame tribute.
