The Vancouver defenseman made an awesome kick save right in front of the goal line to stop a puck in mid-air and prevent a sure goal for the Panthers halfway through the third period during yesterday’s matinee in Sunrise, FL. The save helped the Canucks to cling on to a one-goal lead, which they eventually surrendered to the Panthers before winning in a shootout.
