Denna Laing was living out her dream when she took the ice for the Boston Pride on December 31st at Gillette Stadium but that dream was tragically cut short. Laing suffered a severe spinal cord injury and is currently in rehab. In an effort to raise money for her charity, the Montreal Canadiens and Boston Bruins have teamed up to create an awesome fundraiser to benefit her.
The teams are going to be raffling off their game worn jerseys from their matchup on January 19th with all the proceeds going to the Denna Laing Fund. The teams will be wearing the uniforms they wore at the Winter Classic. Currently, Patrice Bergeron’s sweater has the highest bid at $5,020.00. You can see the auction page here.
Bergeron is also raffling off his suite at TD Garden and a meet and greet with him with the proceeds of that raffle going to the Denna Laing Fund as well.
If you want to donate to the foundation directly, you can go here.
Barstool Sports is also selling tshirts to support Laing, which can be found here.
