The 2014 Winter Classic set the world record for the largest crowd to ever attend an ice hockey game. There were 105,491 brave souls who battled the bitterly cold conditions at Michigan Stadium to take in this highly anticipated game between two of the NHL’s oldest clubs. Snow coated the Big House in Ann Arbor to make the wintery contest between the Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs even more picturesque as you can see by these beautiful photos.
