The Miami Dolphins had a bit of a scuffle at practice this week as running back Jaylen Wright and cornerback Kader Kahou got heated and physical with each other after one play. But it sounds like Miami Dolphin star wide receiver Tyreek Hill is not at all concerned with the occasional fight during practice. In fact he welcomes it.
During a recent press conference, Tyreek Hill called the fight “amazing,” saying that all the winning teams that he has been a part of fight during training camp and on the practice field.
“I think the fight we had today was amazing. We need that. Teams that I’ve been on that won, those teams fought,” Hill said according to Kauchik Sampath of the Miami Herald. “They aren’t going to fight in the locker room. This is where you fight. Then right after the play you calm yourself down, in between the whistle you’re right back at it with no mental errors.”
It’s certainly a surprising take on the situation as most players and coaches would generally like to avoid fights during practice, but it seems like Hill just sees fights like this as a sign of a competitive football team.
