One of the biggest storylines in the entire NFL this season has been the newfound relationship between Kansas City Chiefs tight end and global pop sensation Taylor Swift. And as Kelce and the Chiefs prepare for a Super Bowl LVIII matchup with the San Francisco 49ers, that intrigue seems to be at an all-time high.
This week, Los Angeles Times reporter Amy Kaufman was sent to the Super Bowl exclusively to cover the relationship between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, and she asked a pretty important question to Kelce during his press conference: “Why do you think everyone is so fascinated with you two?”
And Kelce had a pretty clear and heartwarming response.

“The values that we stand for and who we are as people,” Kelce said. “We love to shine light on others, shine light around the people that help and support us. And on top of that, I feel like we just have a love for life.”
Of course, it certainly helps that both of them are among the best at what they do in their respective high-profile careers, but they have both done a great job of stewarding that fame.
Regardless, it’s a pretty heartwarming answer from Kelce about his relationship.
