Kansas City Chiefs superstar tight end Travis Kelce has seen his life radically change over the past few months after he began dating pop sensation, Taylor Swift. He’s suddenly reached a new level of fame and received more media and fan attention than he ever imagined. And he admits that he never would have seen this coming for himself.
During a recent interview with Good Morning America, Travis Kelce admitted that a few years ago, he would not have even been able to fathom how his life currently looks as a result of his relationship with Taylor Swift.
“I can’t really say that I had that much of a vision on where I was gonna be, especially off the field,” he said. “So I don’t think I could even fathom where I’m at right now in life.”
But even if life has been crazy, Kelce is trying to rely on family, family, and those closest to him to keep himself grounded.
“When you have good family and friends around you, it makes that aspect of life that much easier,” he explained. ” I have such a beautiful family… And I’ve always been a very grounded guy.”
He continued, “You know, it might not come off like that when I’m playing football…but off the field, I just wanna be a genuine person. Somebody that seems very relatable…if anybody asks me for a picture and it’s just not the moment to take a picture, you know, I’ll have a conversation with you.”
Clearly, he was not prepared for this. But he’s loving it.
