Ever since Taylor Swift began dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, it has led to a surge in younger girls across the country becoming interested in the NFL and football as they follow Swift’s new fandom. And Kelce is pleased to have the newfound support.
During his press conference on Monday night ahead of the Super Bowl LVIII matchup with the San Francisco 49ers, Travis Kelce was asked what he thought about all of the loyal Taylor Swift fans now supporting him and the Chiefs in the NFL, and he made it pretty clear that he is happy that they are interested in football.
“I think Taylor’s fanbase is unbelievable,” Kelce said. “The support they give her, the support they give what she supports and what she loves in this world and wants to see – it’s been awesome to see the NFL expand in that regard.”

And Kelce is grateful for the impact that Swift has had on girls becoming interested in the game of football.
“And just how many young girls are getting into the game of football and are enjoying those moments with their fathers and their loved ones – it’s been awesome to hear,” Kelce said.
