Earlier this month, Taylor Swift made a difficult and controversial decision to cancel three of her concerts in Vienna, Austria after authorities unearthed a terrorist plot targeting them in a potential attack. It wasn’t an easy decision for her to make, but it sounds like her NFL superstar boyfriend is happy she had the courage to do it.
According to a source from Life & Style Magazine, Travis Kelce was “proud” of Taylor Swift for canceling the concerts even if it ultimately cost her a lot of money as a result.
“Money isn’t everything and Travis is proud of Taylor for doing the right thing and canceling her shows,” the source told Life and Style. “Putting her life and the lives of her fans at risk simply isn’t worth it, no matter how disappointing it is for people or how much money it cost her.”
Each show that Swift puts on is a massive production and each concert costs millions of dollars to put on when it comes to labor, travel, and all of the production costs. With the concerts now canceled and all the tickets refunded, it was a pretty costly decision for Swift.
This marks just the second time Swift has ever been forced to cancel a concert.
