It’s certainly been a great several months for Travis Kelce as he began dating pop sensation Taylor Swift and helped lead the Kansas City Chiefs to their second consecutive Super Bowl while hosting the most successful sports podcast on the planet. And thinks got even better for him this week.
According to a report from NFL insider Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Travis Kelce has just signed a contract extension with the Kansas City Chiefs that will make him the highest-paid tight end in the entire league.
“No more Champagne Problems: The #Chiefs and All-Pro and Pro Bowl TE Travis Kelce have agreed to terms on a new 2-year contract extension to make him the NFL’s highest-paid tight end, sources say. The deal was done by his long-time agent Mike Simon, now with @milkhoneysport,” Rapoport said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

Obviously, this is still very little money compared to what his girlfriend Taylor Swift makes in the entertainment industry as she recently became a billionaire, but it’s still quite a big payday for superstar tight end that continues an incredible few months for him personally and professionally.
