Travis Kelce Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce was already a big star before his public relationship with Taylor Swift began. But now, he has reached a new level of stardom. And while that is largely a good thing for him that opens a number of potential opportunities, it does have its fair share of drawbacks.

Kelce has unfortunately learned that the hard way. On his podcast with his brother Jason Kelce, the New Heights podcast, Jason shared how his brother’s address was leaked, which led to him receiving a ridiculous amount of mail from fans and even having countless fans showing up to his house and hanging around to meet him.

“People were just staying by his house,” Jason admitted to Shaquille O’Neal, who made a guest appearance on the podcast.

Jason Kelce then even detailed that this caused Travis to move to a gated community. And even that didn’t stop a smaller number of dedicated fans from finding him.

“The first day he moved into the new house, a gated community, someone knocks on a window of the house,” Jason Kelce added.

Travis then spoke about the situation, saying that this has even caused him to stop having mail sent to his house in order to try and keep his address under wraps.

“The one thing you don’t realize when somebody posts your house online, that everybody now has your address, and people just send stuff to your house, so I literally stopped getting mail to my house,” said Kelce. “I had to literally tell the post office and everybody to stop bringing stuff to my house.”

These are the things that people don’t often talk about that comes with fame. Sure, it’s great to be recognized at times and have a platform where people will follow you. But the lack of privacy for Travis Kelce appears to be quite significant.

Hopefully he can find a way to keep some semblance of privacy in the future in his new home.
