While much of the world is captivated by the relationship between Kansas City Chiefs superstar Travis Kelce and pop sensation Taylor Swift, it’s pretty clear that comedian and television host Bill Maher is not one of their supporters as he boldly predicted that Kelce will “dump” the pop star.
During a recent interview with Haliey Welch, better known as “Hawk Tuah Girl,” on Monday’s episode of his “Club Random” podcast, Bill Maher expressed his general apprehension surrounding the relationship between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
“I’m sure she’s a lovely person, but the whole thing with the football player,” Maher said according to the New York Post. “I just felt like 35 was a little old to be like, ‘My boyfriend’s a football player and I wear his jersey to the game with his number on it!’ Right? I mean, come on.”
Maher then offered a pretty grim prediction for their relationship as he declared that Kelce will “dump” Swift like “Gatorade at the Super Bowl.”
“He’s gonna dump her, though. You know that,” Maher said. “With her, it’s like the Gatorade at the Super Bowl, you know you’re gonna get dumped,” he added. “You just don’t know when.”
We’ll have to see if his brutal prediction comes true.
