Showing that a little Deflate-gate isn’t going to distract anyone associated with the Patriots, the genius (or geniuses) behind Tom Brady’s Facebook page put together an incredible hype video narrated by Billy Bob Thornton’s character Gary Gaines on Friday Night Lights.
In two minutes and forty seconds, Brady managed to put together something which was instantly more riveting than the Pro Bowl. Seriously, next year just scrap the Pro Bowl and have each Super Bowl team submit hype videos set to Friday Night Lights‘ speeches instead.
For comparison’s sake, here’s the full Thornton speech which Brady’s Facebook expertly edited for Patriots fans everywhere. It’s easy to see why Brady’s page manager picked it out of the seemingly infinite number of fictional motivational speeches out there.
