After retiring from his playing career, Tom Brady is attempting to juggle two new jobs related to the NFL as he seeks to become a broadcaster with Fox as well as a part-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. But in a brutal turn of events, it’s looking more and more like he won’t be able to do both.
This week, the NFL announced that Tom Brady will face heavy restrictions as a broadcaster due to his relationship with the Las Vegas Raiders. But NFL insider Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk seems to think that those restrictions are just a sign that Brady won’t be actually be approved as a league owner as long as he is working with Fox.
“The league’s unambiguous and unequivocal declaration that Brady can’t enter team facilities, attend practices, or participate in production meetings is a harbinger. If/when it’s ever time to vote on his bid to buy (along with Hall of Famer Richard Seymour and their mutual partners) 10.4 percent of the Raiders, at least nine owners will say no,” Florio wrote for Pro Football Talk.
“Why wouldn’t they? The restrictions they’ve placed on Brady undermine the biggest Fox broadcast of the week. And the NFL has a vested interest in ensuring that the broadcasts are as good as they can be. During the recent Sunday Ticket trial, Commissioner Roger Goodell explained that the NFL got out of the Thursday Night Football business because the league couldn’t produce and televise games up to the league’s standards.”
Needless to say, this is some brutal news for Brady given his desire to step into broadcasting and his dream of becoming an NFL owner, and it led to a lot of reactions on social media.
NFL owners don't like sharing with the common folks.

It has to be one or the other. I mean what are the optics of this if he does a Raiders game? TBH it doesnt make sense.

It’s not like he hasn’t been known to cheat in the past or anything.

We’ll have to see how this whole situation plays out.
