Thursday marked the 15th anniversary of the Patriots’ selection of one Tom Brady in the NFL Draft.

And while Patriots fans surely celebrated the day by building shrines to #12 and holding cutoff hoodie parties, Brady wasn’t able to properly acknowledge the milestone until Friday.
The Patriots quarterback posted a slightly modified photo of his infamous shirtless combine picture along with the following caption.
I was traveling yesterday but didn’t want to miss the opportunity to say thank you to the Patriots for taking a chance on me 15 years ago. I will forever be grateful and still have a lot more to prove. #199thpick #fbf
The original combine picture will never stop being one of the most hilarious images in NFL history.
