On Tuesday, the Green Bay Packers unveiled the alternate jersey that the team will wear for its October 18th game against the San Diego Chargers.
Here they are! The #Packers will wear these historic third jerseys on Oct. 18 vs. the Chargers.

The uniform is based off of the uniform that the team wore from 1937-49. While the uniform’s color scheme is reminiscent of the alternate throwbacks that Green Bay has worn in the past few seasons, the new alternate’s use of golden yellow on the shoulders and lettering looks much better than the yellow circle in a sea of blue that characterized Green Bay’s former alternates.
The Packers have worn a version of these alternates in recent (Ok, not really that recent) memory. The Packers rocked a similar uniform back in 1994 as a part of the NFL’s celebration of its 75th anniversary.
The Packers already have one of the best jerseys in all of football and now they finally have an alternate that is just as great as well.
