The Kansas City Chiefs improved to 3-0 on Sunday night, but some of the magic might be gone.
The Chiefs offense has yet to reach the high-flying levels fans have become accustomed to. One group in particular is used to seeing Chiefs star tight end in smiling and in high spirits on the sideline, but as his production wanes this season, he’s been much more somber.
Fans of Kelce’s girlfriend, pop megastar Taylor Swift, have grown accustomed to seeing an enthusiastic Kelce as Swift cheers on from a suite. They took to social media to express their concern when that wasn’t the case on Sunday night.
“trav ):,” one fan said on Twitter while sharing a video of a frustrated Kelce.
“This kills me,” added another.
“I truly believe they are fading him out because they know he doesn’t have much time left and they are using their younger players more. It’s literally the worst. My heart breaks for him. He wants his team to win, but he wants to know that he’s contributing,” a fan wrote.
“free travis kelce man,” one person said.
Kelce finished the game with only four catches for 30 yards. If he isn’t able to get his production up, fans may have to get used to seeing this version of Kelce on the sidelines, and it could put pressure on his relationship with Swift.
