The Kansas City Chiefs and Travis Kelce won the Super Bowl on Sunday night with a victory over the San Francisco 49ers. The win led to plenty of celebration for Kelce and Taylor Swift and all of the Swifties who jumped aboard the Kansas City bandwagon during the year after the power couple began dating. But there was one event during the game that had Swifties absolutely furious at Kelce.
During the first half of Sunday night’s game, Travis Kelce was seen on the sideline getting into a sort of altercation with his head coach after the team suffered a costly fumble in the red zone, denying them a scoring opportunity. Kelce, who was on the sideline during the play, ran up to head coach Andy Reid and bumped him, nearly knocking him to the ground, as he screamed something in the face of his head coach.
It was a pretty shocking moment, and Taylor Swift fans were not happy at all to see the way that Kelce screamed at his coach during the game with many Swifties even calling for the pop star to break up with him as a result of his antics.
Hey #swifties! I speak for most of the fanbase when I say Taylor needs to leave this man, he’s assaulting a man for no reason!!!! pic.twitter.com/VPKohNP4Bc

Any man that acts like that, likes to yell at anyone and everyone. Even Taylor Swift. #RedFlag (in a dating sense; not in an NFL way)

Redflag would be a great title for the breakup song #TaylorSwift @taylor

Do we need to be scared for Taylor’s safety?

Red Flag…Taylor Swift.
Absolute reason to run from him. https://t.co/UkWl1NK6uT— Kris (@BrincoBrinco) February 12, 2024
Ultimately, Kelce admitted after the game that his emotions simply got the better of him. But that is unlikely to be a satisfactory excuse for the Swifties.
