After attending the first two Kansas City Chiefs games of the season in support of her boyfriend Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift has been noticeably absent from the past two games including last weekend’s game against the Atlanta Falcons and Sunday afternoon’s showdown with the Los Angeles Charges in LA.
While there was an explanation for why Taylor Swift skipped last week’s game against the Falcons in Atlanta, it sounds like she was expected to show up to this week’s game.
“Going to the game in Atlanta wasn’t possible because she had scheduled time with some friends, like Gigi Hadid, whom she spent time with on the weekend, and other friends that she hasn’t seen in a while,” an unnamed source previously told the US Sun of the pop star’s absence in Atlanta.
“She wanted to hang out with them before returning to the tour soon. But she plans to return to the next game to support Travis.”
But apparently, she changed her mind in that regard.
When the Kansas City Chiefs took on the Los Angeles Chargers in LA this weekend, Swift was nowhere to be found in the stands.
It’s not clear why she opted not to attend Sunday afternoon’s game.
We’ll have to see whether or not she decides to attend this week’s game and cheer on Travis.
