Russell Wilson was able to secure an early pass to see the greatest Twilight-inspired erotic novel turned movie of all-time in 50 Shades of Grey.
Inexplicably, instead of burning the passes, Wilson saw the movie.
Even more inexplicably, he seemed to enjoy himself, going so far as to say that it was “provocative” and a “great movie.”
Thanks for the early showing of #50ShadesOfGrey late last night..
#EmeraldCity Great movie.

Saw a movie filmed in the town I call home. Provocative/disturbing no doubt but that does not make me less Faithful.
Have a blessed day!

For what it’s worth, a quick perusal of Rotten Tomatoes shows that while critics have given the movie a 29% approval rating, 56% of audience members enjoyed themselves so Wilson’s tastes somewhat align with the common man.
If the marketing department behind 50 Shades of Gray is smart, they’ll plaster “‘Great movie’ – Russell Wilson” on every single advertisement moving forward because who is America more likely to trust: God’s chosen quarterback or some anonymous movie critic?
