The Denver Broncos have widely been expected to part ways with quarterback Russell Wilson after the team decided to bench the nine-time Pro Bowl quarterback for the final two games of the season. And it looks like Wilson is making a pretty significant move that signifies he does not expect to be in Denver much longer.
According to a report from Thomas Gounley of the Denver Post, Russell Wilson and his wife Ciara are looking to sell their Denver-area mansion.
“The most expensive home ever sold in the Denver area is quietly being shopped around,” Gounley wrote for the Denver Post. “Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson and singer-songwriter wife Ciara are accepting offers, and providing tours to prospective buyers, for the mansion they own in Cherry Hills Village, sources tell BusinessDen.”
The $25 million home was the most expensive home ever purchased in the Denver area when Wilson purchased the home in 2022. It’s massive and filled with
amenities.
“The 20,000-square-foot home on 5 acres has four bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, plus his-and-hers walk-in closets, offices and bathroom suites, according to a previous listing of the property. There’s also a 2,590-square-foot indoor swimming pool, a basketball court and a guest apartment with its own kitchen,” Gounley reported.
Obviously, this is an indication that Wilson is planning to leave Denver.
