Remember the crazy ending of the week three Monday Night Football game between the Seattle Seahawks and the Green Bay Packers? Of course you do, because ESPN still continues to show the game-winning touchdown “catch” by Seattle wide Receiver Golden Tate. You know who else remembers it? Seahawks All-Pro cornerback Richard Sherman.
On July 7th, Sherman is hosting a celebrity softball game that will feature players like Gary Payton, Shawn Kemp, Larry Fitzgerald, Kam Chancellor and many more. The Facebook page for the event posted earlier this morning that Lance Easley, the infamous NFL replacement referee responsible for the botched call (which gave my Seahawks a questionable victory, thanks Lance), will be the umpire for the softball game.
This is pretty incredible, but what else would you expect out of the always entertaining Richard Sherman?
