The 2024 United States presidential election is just a few months away as Donald Trump and Joe Biden will square off with each one trying to defeat the other and earn the nomination. Over the next several months, there will undoubtedly be many celebrities, athletes, and other prominent individuals offering their opinions and endorsements, but Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will not be one of them.
Patrick Mahomes recently offered a pretty strong opinion on the upcoming presidential election between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, but it wasn’t about which candidate people should pick. Instead, Mahomes simply wants to make sure that everyone takes the time to vote and truly researches their selection.
“I don’t want to pressure anyone to vote for a certain president,” Mahomes said according to Time Magazine. “I want people to use their voice, whoever they believe in. I want them to do the research.”
In a world where people love to tell other people how they should think, this is a pretty refreshing opinion from Mahomes. He does not seem to care who people vote for, he just wants to make sure that they get out to the polls and let their voice be heard.
