During the fourth quarter of the Jets win against the Miami Dolphins with the Dolphins at the Jets nine yard line, Darrelle Revis managed to make a fantastic interception, thus blunting Miami’s meager attempt at a comeback.
To celebrate, the thirty year-old veteran broke out the ubiquitous “Nae Nae” dance that has become a sports tradition in its own right. It was like watching your dad dance, somehow awkward and awesome at the same time.

Unsurprisingly, Revis didn’t pick up the dance on his own. His kids asked him to do the dance if he ever got an interception. Revis’s (presumably younger) teammates then taught him the viral hit that he so expertly displayed after his second interception of the year.
