The first ever College Football Playoff is set. We all pretty much knew the 1-3 slots, but the fourth and final spot was completely up for grabs between TCU, Baylor, and Ohio State. TCU, who came into the weekend ranked No. 3, won 55-3 this weekend, but it dropped out of the playoff all together. Baylor also just missed out on the final spot. Which means, of course, it’s Ohio State at No. 4.
Here are the rankings:
- Alabama
- Oregon
- Florida State
- Ohio State
So, Alabama will face Ohio State. And Oregon will beat, ummm, play Florida State. And Baylor and TCU won’t get a chance. In other words, we need a six-team playoff.
