In news which should surprise no one who is familiar with how seriously the NFL takes these types of things, Travis Kelce was reportedly fined $11,025 for making an obscene gesture during the Broncos-Chiefs game on November 30th.
Kelce made the offending gesture shortly after Von Miller laid a late hit on Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith.
And if it wasn’t clear who that was directed at, Kelce offered an explanation (since deleted) on Twitter.
So… yeah. With no ambiguity left as an excuse, Kelce was pretty much doomed to eat a fine for this one.
