Last night, Travis d’Arnaud hit a monster homerun both in terms of distance and importance. The ball actually hit the apple in centerfield of Citi Field and ricocheted into the crowd.
Today, the Mets decided to patch up the iconic homerun celebration by putting a huge bandage on the part of the apple that was hit. Take a look at it below.
