Marvin Harrison Jr. Syndication: Arizona Republic

For the past several weeks, fans have been unable to purchase the jersey of new Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. as he refused to sign the NFLPA licensing agreement that would allow for it to be sold. Harrison has now finally signed that licensing agreement, but for some reason, fans still can’t purchase his jersey.

As Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk points out, even though Marvin Harrison Jr. has signed the deal that allows for his jersey to be sold, his jersey remains unavailable for purchase.

“A search in the Cardinals’ online shop for ‘Marvin Harrison’ currently returns no results. At the Fanatics NFL page, entering ‘Marvin Harrison’ leads to products related to plenty of noteworthy Marvins and Harrisons (from Marvin Harrison Sr. to Harrison Butker to singer Marvin Gaye to NASCAR driver Harrison Burton to NBA player Marvin Bagley III to Harrison Smith to Marvin Mims Jr. to soccer player Marvin Loria to James Harrison to Rodney Harrison to NBA player Harrison Barnes to MLB player Harrison Bader to Ronnie Harrison Jr. to Harrison Ford to Marvin the Martian — seriously) but nothing from Marvin Harrison Jr,” Florio wrote.

Obviously, this is pretty brutal news for Harrison as he cannot make money off of the jersey sales if they aren’t available to be sold, and it’s also brutal news for fans who have been waiting weeks to purchase his jersey. The whole situation has led to a lot of reactions on social media.

It’s not clear why his jersey is still not available. But for the sake of everyone involved, hopefully, the issue will be resolved soon.
