The Miami Dolphins are on their way towards completing one more forgettable season but they can at least say that they accomplished something historic during the last game of the season.
At the start of the third quarter of Sunday’s game, the Dolphins were looking to create a little breathing room as the team had the ball on its own three yard line after the Jets had failed to convert a fourth down.
Miami called a play for Lamar Miller and the running back did more than create space. He took it all the way to the house and set a new franchise record as well.
