You would think that Katy Perry would have gotten a bat-shit crazy tattoo to remember her extravagant Super Bowl halftime performance given that there’s so many different images that she could have chosen from.
After all, there was a giant chrome lion.
There was a sad beach ball.
THERE WERE THE MOST AMAZING DANCING SHARKS.
And yet, for as big of a spectacle as Katy Perry’s Super Bowl Halftime Show was, the tattoo that she got to commemorate the occasion was decidedly small and restrained in its scope. Perry got “XLIX” tattooed on her finger – a nod to Super Bowl 49.
