During halftime at the Super Bowl LVIII showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers Usher is set to perform. However, given his strong relationship with pop superstar Justin Bieber and the fact that the two have a long history together and have even performed together in the past, many are speculating that Bieber might join Usher on the stage. And a recent development has added to that speculation.

According to a report from TMZ this week, Usher had been in contact with Bieber about potentially joining him on stage during the halftime show.

“Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … Usher reached out to Bieber about performing. We’re told there were no handlers involved on either side … they talked directly to each other,” TMZ reported this week.

“Our sources say they do not know the outcome of the talks, but Usher definitely wants Bieber to join him for what promises to be the most-watched Super Bowl in history.”

And according to a report from Page Six, Bieber is in Las Vegas for the Super Bowl as he was photographed arriving in Vegas with the Kardashians and Jenners.

Obviously, the conversations between Usher and Bieber coupled with the fact that Bieber is in Las Vegas led to a lot of reaction from fans.

We’ll have to see whether or not Bieber does join Usher on the stage.
