Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has spent the past several months recovering from a wrist injury that ended his 2023 season. But he’s also been making another pretty significant change: getting bigger and stronger.
During a recent press conference, Joe Burrow revealed that he has spent the past several months focusing on weight training and nutrition. As a result, he is “definitely bigger” this offseason.
“I’m gonna continue to get stronger and bigger throughout the offseason and just play it by ear, depending on how I feel,” Burrow said according to Pro Football Talk. “I’m in a good spot right now. I’m really strong, bigger than I was. We’re gonna continue to eat right, lift and go through my routine and see where I’m at.”
Burrow said he has been working with his trainer and has been very intentional about what he eats and how he works out, and he can tell a difference.
“I’m more dialed as far as nutrition and food schedule and eating when I need to,” Burrow said. “I’ve seen results.”
It will certainly be interesting to see how these changes to his body composition impact his performance on the field this upcoming season.
