Jason Pierre-Paul made himself available to the media on Friday which resulted in this beautiful picture of JPP’s right hand that he injured in a fireworks accident over the Fourth of July holiday. JPP lost his right index finger and part of his thumb in the incident.

Despite the severity of the injury, Pierre-Paul remains confident that he can play football.
I’m the same JPP that I was last year. There’s not going to be a major adjustment. As far as my hand goes, I’ll get used to it. I’m just fortunate to play football again.
What’s a few missing digits anyways?
