If this compilation of highlights from Russell Wilson’s high school football career at Collegiate School in Richmond, Virginia proves anything, it’s that his maddening ability to keep plays alive through his footwork and pocket presence is a talent that he’s been honing for a long time now.
As a high school senior, Russell rushed for 1,132 yards and 18 touchdowns while he passed for 3,009 yards and 34 touchdowns to just seven interceptions. He was a two-time All-State quarterback during his junior and senior years with Collegiate as well. Watching this, it’s easy to see why.
