Fox football reporter Erin Andrews is like most humans in that they admit to peculiar behavior that most people might find gross.
Speaking on the Calm Down with Erin and Charissa podcast, Andrews revealed that she’s revolted by clips of her gnawing on gum “like a (freaking) cow” while interviewing players.
“Jarret was right. I chomp my gum. I saw videos of us in that VIP tent. I’m a (expletive) cow. I mean, I am gnawing on my gum. It’s disgusting. And you know what I’m gonna say it comes from? I’ve seen videos of me on the field talking to athletes going (imitates wide mouth talking) ‘Mah, Mah.’ Like, girl, ‘moo moo.’ Spit it out,” Andrews said.
To be fair to Andrews, most people probably wouldn’t be grossed out by an embarrassing clip of somebody chomping gum. But it’s understandable why Andrews would feel that way being the subject of the criticism.
Andrews rose to prominence with ESPN, starting her journalism career there in 2004. She made the transition to Fox in 2012. She also has the distinction of finishing third on Dancing with the Stars and went on to co-host the show. She was born in Lewiston, Maine.
