This is far from the first time that we’ve seen an athlete or other celebrity take an ordinary guy or gal to prom but it never gets old. After receiving a curious request from Hannah Delmonte, Philadelphia Eagle linebacker Emmanuel Acho followed through like a pure gentleman.
Delmonte initially asked if Acho would be her prom date if she was able to get 2,000 retweets, but he believed his “going rate” was a little higher:
Unsurprisingly she reached the goal but was unsure if he would honor the bet, that is until he showed up at her school with an official invitation to prom:
