As great as Drew Brees has been this year, if there’s one area where he’s struggled, it’s turnovers.
Before Monday night’s game, Brees had already thrown 10 interceptions in 10 games (he’s also lost three fumbles).
Unfortunately for Saints fans, Brees would throw his eleventh interception of the year against the Ravens and it couldn’t have come at a worse time for his team.
With the game tied up in the third quarter, Will Hill perfectly timed his jump and snagged Brees pass out of thin air. From there, the return was merely a formality. The Saints are still in the game (and in the division hunt thanks to the NFC South’s awfulness) but they’ll have there work cut out for them now.
