As the NFL world prepares for the Super Bowl LVIII showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers, Grammy Award-winning rapper Drake has made his pick on the game very clear, and he’s putting a huge sum of money where his mouth is.
This week, Drake posted a screenshot of a bet slip showing an absolutely massive bet he placed at the sportsbook Stake. Drake is staking $1.15 million on the Kansas City Chiefs to win Super Bowl LVIII over the San Francisco 49ers, and his reason is quite comical – Taylor Swift.
“I can’t bet against the Swifties,” Drake said in his post on Instagram.
If the Chiefs do prevail on Sunday night, Drake’s wager will return him a massive sum of $2.346 million.
We’ll have to see if the Chiefs come out on top on Sunday night to make Drake’s bank account a little bit bigger or if the Niners pull out the win to deal Drake a major financial blow.
Whatever happens, though, it’s pretty clear that Drake will be able to afford it as he has an estimated net worth of around $250 million. So even losing a massive wager like this will barely make a dent in his fortune.
