It appears Dez Bryant wasn’t messing around earlier this offseason when he said he’d sit out if he’s not signed to a long-term contract.
The Dallas Cowboys’ star receiver, according to ESPN’s Ed Werder, informed Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones that he has until Wednesday to sign him to a long-term deal. If no deal is reached, he threatens to miss camp along with regular season games.
Sources: @DezBryant personally called Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones to say he won't attend camp, will miss real games unless signed by Wed.

It appears the two sides still aren’t close, despite Dallas’ reported optimism that a deal would get done soon after the Fourth of July.
