Some people learn how to play their position from their coach or a family member, but Notre Dame quarterback DeShone Kizer learned the position by watching YouTube videos of former Philadelphia Eagle and Washington Redskin Donovan McNabb.
It is a unique way to learn a style of play but one that may become more and more popular. Kizer picked a pretty good guy to emulate too. Despite being constantly booed by the Philly fans, McNabb made multiple Pro Bowls, a Super Bowl, and three straight NFC Championships when he was in his prime. All that was done without the presence of many weapons as he only had Terrell Owens for a season and Brian Westbrook was never really healthy.
Notre Dame is currently ranked number five in the first College Football Playoff poll and will need to win out if they want to stay in contention.
