Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson suffered a shoulder injury last season that ultimately required season-ending surgery. He’s been slowly working his way back to the field since then, and it sounds like the team is quite happy wit what they’ve seen from him.

During a recent press conference, Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski gave a pretty significant update on Deshaun Watson, saying that he quarterback “looked like himself” during practice, even if he isn’t 100 percent cleared to play just yet.

“He looked like himself to me,” Stefanski said according to Pro Football Talk. “I’ve been able to watch him the last couple of weeks in Phase Two, so I’ve seen him throw. He’s making great progress. We will continue to just follow the medical team on this, but he looked like himself.”

Obviously, this update led to a lot of reactions on social media.

Watson has not had the best luck with injuries ever since he joined the Cleveland Browns. Due to a combination of injuries and a suspension during his first season with the team, Watson has not played in more than six games in either of his two seasons with the Browns. We’ll have to see if that changes this year.
